Zest in Peace Wheat Beer with Lemon Zest
Review Date 6/7/2024 By John Staradumsky
This seems to be a rather new beer from Tampa’s Angry Chair Brewing: Zest in Peace Wheat Beer with Lemon Zest. There’s no information on the beer on the brewery website, and not much anywhere else, either. So all I can tell you is:
· It has 339 check ins on Untappd.
· It has an alcohol content of 5.4% by volume
· I paid $3.25 for my pint can from the Woodstock Beer Market
· It is my first beer from Angry Chair
Angry Chair Zest in Peace Wheat Beer with Lemon Zest pours to a pale yellow color with a thick and fluffy short-lived head and a nose of tart wheat and zesty lemon. Taking a sip, the beer is crackery wheaty up front and pops with more of the vibrant lemon the nose promised. It’s tart from the wheat in the finish, and offers lemon rind bitterness as well.
Quenching, refreshing, and quaffable. An excellent first beer on a warm late spring evening.
Glad I tried it?
