Deep orange-amber color, light carbonation. Sweetish caramel nose is full of
English character. Big Marris Otter malt palate, sweet and smooth with
strong hints of raisin and prune, a touch of molasses and caramel. A subtle
hint of diacetyl is detectable as well. The finish is well balanced with a
kiss of bittering hops (Fuggles, Willamettes, and Cascades are used, the
Fuggles stand out to me) and a bit of alcohol warmth. An absolutely
fabulous, complex beer, packed with flavor and very drinkable. Don't miss
this one.
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
