The Flying Fish Brewing Company in Cherry Hill, NJ, is a recent addition to the craft brewing world. I have only had the chance to sample one of their beers to date, an ESB Ale, and though I consider it to be more of a pale ale than an ESB, it is a very tasty brew indeed. If this is an indication of the quality of their beer, I will have to seek out the rest of their line. This murky, reddish-brown brew has an extremely fruity nose and a rich foamy head. The palate here screams fruit, the touch of malt present pales in comparison. More malt would be necessary for an ESB, as well as more hops, though the beer does have a decent hop bite in the finish. Tasty!
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
