Forever Fest Festbier-Style Lager

Review Date 9/29/2025  By John Staradumsky

Here’s my first beer ever from the Industrial Arts Brewing Company of Beacon, New York: Forever Fest Festbier-Style Lager. I got a can of this beer recently just in time for Oktoberfest 2025, which for me starts in August and runs to November. Yeah, I really love Oktoberfest. Fall is right up there with winter as my favorite season, and really finishes the year off with a bang.

And it all begins in August. You get Oktoberfest and pumpkin beers, football, cooler weather. What’s better than that? Then the holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and of course the wonderful beers that accompany the winter holidays. What’s the rest of the year got? Christmas in July is about all I can think of, and maybe St. Patrick’s Day.

Industrial Arts says:

A fusion of Festbier and Helles, this golden lager pours with hints of honeyed toast and a floral, citrusy finish from whole cone hops. Crisp, light, and easy-drinking.

Festbier really is already a fusion of Helles and Märzen, so a fusion of Festbier and Helles just seems redundant to me.

Industrial Arts Forever Fest has an alcohol content of 5.2% by volume and I paid $5.49 for my pint can from Half Time. Total Wine sells it for $14.99 a 4-ack in Greenville, South Carolina. My can was stamped PKG 07/15/25. I drank my can on September 7th.

Industrial Arts Forever Fest pours to a brilliant golden color with a thick fluffy white head and a nose of grassy herbal hops. Taking a sip the beer is out of balance, it’s got a touch of crisp malt but isn’t as bready as the style requires. There’s a touch of fruity White grape as well. It’s heavy on the hops, even harsh with a grassy metallic finish.

Industrial Arts Forever Fest did not deliver what I’m looking for in a Festbier. There are far better examples of the style out there, most at a better price, too.

 Glad I tried it?  T

Would I rebuy it??
