Lord of the Drinks Hazy IPA

Father’s Day 2025! Guess where I’m going? Breweries! Well, not just breweries, but…breweries! We were actually celebrating a day early on Saturday, June 14th, and we started our fun at Frankfurt Döner and Meats in Ball Ground, Georgia. There, I enjoyed a delicious grilled bratwurst smothered in sauteed onions and authentic German potato salad.
Although we ate at the deli, we could just have easily brought our food over to our next stop, Rock Solid Brewing across the street. Rock Solid does not have food service in-house, but you can bring your own, sort ofg the opposite of BYOB. There was a food truck (Mexican) outside when we got there, and people were even having pizzas delivered from Dominic’s Wood Fired Pizza next door.
Be that as it may, it was time for beer, and I ordered a flight of four for $12. One of my favorites of these was Lord of the Drinks Hazy IPA, which I liked so much I ordered a pint before we left. I can’t tell you much about the beer other than it has an alcohol content of 6.8% by volume, and I paid $7 for a pint. I can and will share my tasting notes, however.
Rock Solid Lord of the Drinks Hazy IPA pours to a hazy yellow color with a thick fluffy white head and a nose of light tropical and citrus fruits. Taking a sip the beer is very juicy indeed, explosively so, with pineapple, mango and citrusy orange. It’s smooth and pasty from oats and finishes balanced but not really better with just a hint of minty hops. It was eminently drinkable.
I don’t know if this beer will be offered again by Rock Solid, but if it is, I would absolutely drink it again.
Glad I tried it?

Would I rebuy it??
