Adams Brewhouse is a stone's throw away from Back Bay Brewing, so naturally
I stopped by and
ordered a pint of the subtly smokey, chewy caramelly Steinbier
(brewed
especially for Jim Koch's birthday). I enjoyed two pints of this, plus a
wonderfully oaky IPA, very much in the English vein. Triple Bock was the
perfect night cap, and I enjoyed the sherry/Madeira notes of the brew
immensely.
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
