The beer is jet black in color (no surprise) and pours to a negligible head. The nose hints at the roasted malt that soon assaults the palate. Strong notes of chocolate mix with lesser ones of molasses to complement the omnipresent roastiness. Hops are minimal, this is definitely a sweet stout. Given the fact that stouts are generally better known for their roasted character rather than their ale fruitiness, the use of lager yeast seems to have minimal effect here. Interesting!
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
