Bamm Bamm! That's what I said when I checked my Brewniveristy app while sitting at my local Taco Mac and munching on their glorious wings (Cajun Voodoo Magic and Asian Sweet Heat). I was sipping a mug of Six Bridges Birdie Putt, too, an Italian-style Pilsner. Problem was, my Birdie Putt was almost Birdie kaput, and I wanted to see what I was going to order up next.
I thought I already knew, because I had checked the draft listings earlier in the day, but as beers here are ephemeral and come and go I always double check right before ordering. And there it was! Weldwerks Bamm Bamm Rubble Rubble! That immediately threw a Flintstones vibe, and after reading the description, it seemed like breakfast time.
Untappd adds that this beer is brewed with fruity rice cereal. There is no listing for it on the brewery website, but then there rarely is with Weldwerks. Bamm Bamm Rubble Rubble Sour Ale has an alcohol content of 5.2% by volume.

Tasting Notes
Weldwerks Bamm Bamm Rubble Rubble arrived a hazy orange color with no head and a nose of tart berry fruit. Taking a sip, the beer has cereal grain up front, wheat and barley and , well, rice cereal notes. It pops with bright fruity strawberry, then vanilla marshmallow and milky lactose. It all finishes with a tart sour, though not puckering, finish.
Value & Verdict
I paid $7.51 for my 23-ounce mug. Total Wine lists it for $17.99 a 4-pack of pint cans in their Brentwood, California store, though they are currently out of stock. A lot like a fermented bowl of Fruity Pebbles if you ask me. It was refreshing and delicious and I for one would certainly love to have it again.
